2024 Copa América: Argentina's record 16th title

Argentina won a record 16th Copa América on 14 July 2024, beating Colombia 1-0 after extra time at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. Substitute Lautaro Martínez scored the only goal in the 112th minute, latching onto a through-ball from Giovani Lo Celso.

A farewell for Di María

The final doubled as the last international match for Ángel Di María, who lifted the trophy alongside captain Lionel Messi and Nicolás Otamendi. Messi himself limped off with an ankle injury in the 66th minute but finished on the winning side.
