Overview
Mitre’s classic training ball uses a traditional 32-panel design with a durable synthetic outer and a butyl bladder. It is built to survive repetitive sessions on grass, turf, and even concrete without losing shape.
Our testers used it for passing drills and small-sided games. It does not have the premium feel of a match ball, but it holds air well and offers predictable bounce at a price that makes it easy to keep a few spares in the bag.
Pros
- Very durable for daily training
- Affordable for teams on a budget
- Consistent bounce and shape retention
Cons
- Heavier touch than match balls
- Less grip in wet conditions
The practical choice for training and youth teams.
